Mmmmm....2 hours in the kitchen making gingerbread in the name of 'Home Learning.' Above and beyond the torture of recreating "The Gingerbread Man" from plastic people and playdough, this week also 'suggested' they could make some gingerbread....so we did. It also said 'don't forget to bring some to share with your teacher', cheeky git.

I'm a 35 year old mother of 2 trying to survive this pace of life that is 'expat living'. I don't play tennis, own a coffee machine or indeed have that many friends that don't work in some form or other. I am, however, partial to a spot of lunching. In nice places.

There is me, Sam - totally insane control freak with a loving affection for bleach.
There is DH/Himself - can't live with him can't shoot him
Sporty - My first born, going on 7 going on 14. Sporty Spice with a hatred for skirts. Will probably one day be famous, and possibly not for the right reason.
Posh - Nearly 4 and loves only Cinderella but thinks she should have a yellow dress as blue is for boys. Posh Spice - will one day become a WAG.
HH - The wonderful person who keeps my household running like relative clockwork and has the misfortune of washing DH's underpants.
Ginger - wee and newly arrived kitten
